WRITER EVENTS IN OR AROUND LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY or in which Louisville and surrounding area residents can participate:

*The month of November is National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to write at least 50,000 words and to complete a novel by the end of the month. It is not a month to edit or to critique this particular novel, but just to let the words flow and enjoy the process of actually being a writer. This event has become international, so wherever you are in the world, stop by the NaNoWriMo home page at http://www.nanowrimo.org for more information. If you are in or near Louisville, find the forums USA-Kentucky-Louisville to get information on write-ins or other writing events for our area.*November 15th = I Love to Write Day. *December is the Louisville Christian Writers annual Christmas dinner. This dinner is for members and one adult guest, such as a spouse. Please attend the November LCW meeting to get more information on location and price. After the dinner, writers are welcome to join us at our regular meeting place for an informal critique session.
*January is our annual planning meeting. In December, we will have set some personal goals as writers, and in January we will set goals as a group. Please stop by even if you are not a member to share with us regarding what you would like to see for your own writing support in the Louisville area.
*In February, we are planning to host a speaker with a local publishing company. There will be more information and a link to his company as that date approaches.
