- American Christian Fiction Writers (aka ACFW) A professional organization dedicated to the craft of Christian fiction where both writers and readers can find sources for the many sub-genres of craft. Offers a traveling conference with the upcoming event scheduled in nearby St. Louis, Missouri in September.
- Shoutlife Social networking site expressly for Christians. The site includes pages for authors (with space for book covers and excerpts), musicians (with a five-song mp3 player), Christian-owned businesses, and more. - Writer's Weekly Online Writer's E-Zine with info on paying markets, writer's warnings, books, courses, and more. Has a very informative weekly newsletter available.

This band has been described as a cross between "Weird Al Yankovic" and "Billy Graham". This band will have you singing old and new secular songs with new Christian lyrics - and may even inspire you to write some parodies of your own.
